Learning to Walk

We know Addison is still too little to be walking (well, too young anyway - the nurse subtely suggested yesterday that he was a little overweight), but everyone likes to try to get him to walk anyway (and the activity is probably good for him!). He is now started to take little steps when someone walks with him. Here Auntie Lindsay is walking with him, all the way into Grandma's arms!

Actually, we aren't worried about Addison being too big, even though his weight is way above the charts. He is just a big and solid boy. His mom and dad were pretty chubby when they were little too, and they grew out of it (remember that Susanna was called "Pudge" when she was little?). Anyway, our little man is growing up. but much too quickly! Where is that tiny baby that we brought home from the hospital? Oh well, it is definitely fun to watch Addison grow and see his personality develop. He is generally a very happy baby and smiles a lot.

The other day Addison was sitting by himself on the couch while I was vacuuming and Adam went and sat down in a chair across from him and they sat there having a little conversation with smiles and a bit of chatting, like two big people having a conversation. It was the cutest thing. I also missed the photo opportunity one night when Adam and Addison were sitting on the couch together, each with a book in hand, enjoying an evening of reading. Well, Addison was just enjoying playing with the book itself and not the actual reading, but it was very cute. Like father, like son, they say!
