Here we are, starting out on a new adventure! Well, a different direction in life anyway.
Unloading the trailer at our new home, Nipawin, SK (these picutres are a little backwards, bear with me)
And everything is out of the house.....empty.....so sad to leave.
And the trailer (22feet long!) is packed FULL, ready for the trip to Nipawin!
Ok, so you are all probably wondering exactly what is happening in our lives now! Our original plan was to go to Briercrest Bible College and Adam would transfer his credits from Nipawin Bible College, finish up his last year, and then head on to the seminary. This did not exactly work out as planned as Briercrest now has a policy that transfer students must still complete half of the Briecrest courses in order to graduate, which would mean that it would take Adam 2 years to complete his degree, whereas it would only take him one year at NBC. So it seemed like God was leading us in that direction instead and all the peices seemed to fall right into place (at first).

So it seemed like God was leading us in that direction instead and all the peices seemed to fall right into place (at first). We put the house up for sale and though we showed it to many, many people, it didn't sell until the very last minute. Then we couldn't get in to sign the papers with the lawyer until the day before we wanted to be in Nipawin. Then we couldn't find a place to live either - ALL housing units on NBC campus were full and it seemed like all the rental units in town were full too. We planned to travel to Nipawin anyway, trusting that it was where God wanted us, and trusting that He would provide a place to live too. Eventually something did open up, at just the last minute as well.
Saturday, Sept 8, we packed up the entire house and moved in with Adam's family for a few days while we waited to get in with the lawyer. Then on Wednesday, Sept 12, we headed to Nipawin, and here we are now! We are living in a 4-plex in the town of Nipawin, and last night went to the school to meet the other returning students. It's weird to also be a returning student (well, Adam anyway) and yet still not know anyone. Freshman students arrive today, and tomorrow is a church service/opening ceremony type thing, Monday is registration, and Tuesday Adam starts classes!
We know this will be a time of adjustment, as we have not experienced this before as a married
couple with a family. We still believe this is where God wants us to be right now, but the adjustment is always a little hard - we're not used to change, and we don't like it. We liked our nice comfortable home in our nice little comfort zone....but we don't grow as much that way, right?

I'm glad you found a place to live there, and hopefully it'll just be a really good year for you guys! :) Maybe we'll get to see you sometime!
We're glad that you are in Nipawin. You are living in the same fourplexes that we lived in the first 3 years of our marriage, but it looks like you are one over. Anyway we'll definitely have to get together some time.

We are so happy that you are back in Nipawin. I can't wait to hang out more. I think Liam will be okay with that...if last night at DQ was any indication. :) Talk to you soon.
I will definately have to try that induction method :) even if it doesn't work a back massage sounds good :) Love the pics - glad that you are starting to enjoy the new experience (as you mentioned on facebook)..
Thanks for posting the pics, Sue! Nice to have a little bit of an idea of where you are.
